Annual Pelham Food Drive
Saturday, May 10, 2008
The Pelham Post
Office, in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Services, will
be sponsoring their Tenth Annual Food Drive on Saturday, May
10th. The Post Office will be coordinating this drive with
the Pelham Good Neighbor Fund. All the food will be donated
to the Pelham Food Pantry. All non-perishable food items
should be placed in or outside your mailbox on Saturday, May
10th, you can drop off the food at the Post Office.
The high cost of
heating their homes as well as the high gasoline prices has
made it difficult for many families to meet their household
expenses which has created more of a demand for food by the
residents of Pelham. The food pantry donations are
down during the summer months so please be as generous as
possible.
